Thrissur: Praising PM Narendra Modi and his leadership, actress and dancer Shobhana expressed gratitude for the excellent leadership that facilitated the passage of the Women’s Reservation Bill in the country. Speaking at the stage program ‘Sthree Shakti Modikk Oppam’ (Empower Women with Modi) at Thekkinkadu Maidan,Thrissur she remarked, ‘Never seen so many women together,’ and added that she views Modi’s leadership with hope.
Women who have made their mark in various fields joined the Prime Minister on stage at Thekkinkadu Maidan. BJP leader Shobha Surendran warmly welcomed the Prime Minister upon his arrival on stage. The Prime Minister folded his hands and bowed to Mariyakutty, Vaikom Vijayalakshmi, and others.
More than 2 lakh women gathered at Thekkinkadu Maidan to participate in the program organized exclusively for women. They welcomed the Prime Minister to the stage with slogans.
