Amritsar: The Border Security Force (BSF) foiled a heroin smuggling attempt from Pakistan. The troops recovered 3.210 kg of heroin, allegedly airdropped by a Pakistani drone, near the Bharat-Pakistan border in Punjab’s Amritsar.
Earlier this morning(Saturday), a drone force was found suspiciously close to Punjab’s border area. During the search, three packets of heroin, two mobile phones and clothes were found. The substance was wrapped with insulin tape. In a press release, the force stated that it successfully prevented an attempt by Pakistan-based smugglers to transport drugs across the border.
