Chithra was attacked because she believed in Sanatana Dharma: K Surendran

Thiruvananthapuram : BJP State President K. Surendran has come out against the widespread cyber attacks by Left-Islamists against singer KS Chithra, who said that all devotees should light lamps in their homes on the occasion of the Prana Pratishta ceremony of the Ayodhya Ram temple. He pointed out that Chithra has to face attacks because she believes in Sanatana Dharma and it is only in Kerala that there are vile cyber attacks on believers. K.Surendran also demanded that KS Chithra would get all kinds of support and that the police should take legal action against the attackers.

“KS Chithra faced a severe cyber attack today simply because of her belief in Sanatana Dharma. Why else would there be an attack on Kerala’s Nightingale within this left-jihadi echo system? No matter how much I ponder it, I cannot comprehend the mistake in urging people of faith to light a lamp on the day of Prana Pratishta in Ayodhya. From Kashmir to Kanyakumari, from the North East to the West, people of different religions, speaking various languages, and following diverse food styles celebrate these days. However, only in our Kerala, under the Pinarayi regime, do we witness a vile cyber attack on believers”, said the BJP State President.

“The Congress, which boasts of respecting all religions, has yet to speak out on the issue. Where is the police force that would arrest anyone criticizing Pinarayi on social media now? Kerala police should take robust legal action against those conducting this cyber attack.  Extending full support to KS Chithra,” K. Surendran said.
