Chennai: Singer KS Chithra is facing a widespread attack on social media for suggesting that all devotees should light a lamp in their homes in connection with the Ayodhya Prana Pratishta ceremony. Following this, many people have come forward in support of Chithra. Now, National Commission for Women member and actress Khushbu Sundar has also expressed support for the singer.

“Cyber attack against Chithra is shameful. Extreme intolerance is taking place in Kerala, which is ruled by the Congress and the Communists. They cannot accept other people’s faith”, said Kushboo.

In a video, the Nightingale of Kerala suggested that the mantra ‘Sri Rama Jayarama Jaya Jayarama’ should be chanted at 12:20 pm on January 22 during the Prana Pratishta ceremony in Ayodhya. Similarly, in the evening, a five-wicked lamp should be lit in all four parts of the house. Chithra expressed that the Lord’s blessings should be bestowed upon everyone.
