EC releases Kerala’s final voter list for Lok Sabha elections

Thiruvananthapuram: The Election Commission has published the final voter list for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Kerala. Kerala’s Chief Electoral Officer Sanjay M. Kaul IAS, in a press conference, announced the readiness of Kerala for the elections. The state has a total of 2,70,99,326 voters, including 1,39,96,729 female voters and 1,31,02,288 male voters. Additionally, there are 5.75 lakh new voters, 309 transgender voters, and 88,223 NRI voters. The state has a total of 25,177 polling stations.

Malappuram district holds the highest number of voters (32,79,172), with the least number found in Wayanad (6,21,880). Malappuram also leads in female voters (16,38,971), while Kozhikode has the highest number of NRI voters (34,909).

Those who haven’t added their names to the final voter list can submit applications before the election. The list is available on the Chief Electoral Officer’s website (www.ceo.kerala.gov.in).
