Jaipur: In a joint operation on Friday, the Border Security Force (BSF) and the Punjab Police successfully seized a substantial cache of weapons and drugs in Punjab. The operation led to the arrest of two individuals in Gurdaspur, Punjab.
Acting on a tip-off received by the Punjab Police, the team conducted a search in the area, uncovering intoxicants and ammunition stored in plastic boxes.
In a recent collaborative effort by the Punjab Police and BSF, drugs and a drone were also seized. BSF officials emphasized that stringent measures have been implemented in the area due to the ongoing issue of illegal smuggling, particularly in the border regions.
