New Delhi: The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, will shortly inaugurate the ‘Fit India Movement’ which aims to make physical activities and sports a part of daily life of every citizen of India.
The Prime Minister is accompanied by Sports Minister, Kiren Rijiju, and Human Resource Development Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal.
During the last Mann Ki Baat, Narendra Modi, called upon everyone to take part in the ‘Fit India Movement’ and said that it was a campaign for all alike, women, children, young, and old.
The movement is managed by 11 ministries including Sports Ministry and Humar Resource Ministry, Panchayati Raj Ministry, etc.
Many industrialists, sportsperson, actors and other celebrities will support the Fit India Movement and will become part of the mass movement.
