New Delhi: The RSS responded to Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan’s ranting at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) against India and the RSS by making fun of the Pakistani leader and thanked him for giving spreading the name of RSS on the world stage.
RSS Sah Sarkaryavahak or Join General Secretary, Dr. Krishna Gopal Sharma said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has made India synonymous with the RSS and said that he targeted RSS because the organization was against terrorism.
The RSS leader said, “The RSS is only in India and for India. It does not have any branch anywhere else in the world. Why is Pakistan angry with us? If they are angry with Sangh, it means they are angry with India. RSS and India have now become synonymous.”
He added, “We wanted the world to see India and the RSS as one entity and not as two separate things. Imran sahab has done this quite well and we congratulate him for that…for spreading our name.”
Making fun of the Pakistani Prime Minister, Krishna Gopal Sharma also asked Imran Khan to continue spreading the name of RSS.
Krishna Gopal Sharma said, “The RSS is getting a lot of fame without doing much and we pray he does not stop that.”
This was the first time that a Pakistani leader mentioned the RSS on a world platform. Imran Khan was trying to garner support for his cause in Kashmir by trying to create a narrative against RSS. His speech in the UN was filled with hatred and divisions.
Compared to Imran Khan’s hate speech, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi dwelled upon his developmental programs and unity among the nations.
