There are widespread protests by teachers and prominent figures in the state over the death of the teacher and his family demanding a CBI probe. The protesters have accused the Mamata Banerjee government of relentlessly killing RSS and BJP workers, ever since TMC came into power in West Bengal.
An RSS worker, his wife, and his small child were brutally killed at their residence in Murshidabad district in West Bengal. The wife was reportedly pregnant when she died.
The deceased were Bondhu Prakash Pal 35, a school teacher, his wife Beauty Pal 30 and their 6-year-old son Anand were stabbed with sharp weapons by unidentified attackers which were later found by the police.
