New Delhi: Today the Delhi Special Cell police together with Assam police arrested three ISIS inspired terrorists who were planning to attack Delhi. Explosives and raw materials for bomb making were apprehended from them.
The security forces arrested Rajeet Islam, Mukadir Islam, and Luit Zameel Zaman, today, from Goalpara in Assam while they were en-route to Dudhnoi village to plan a bomb.
Meanwhile, it is learnt that one of the accused, Luit Zameel Zaman, was accused of love jihad seven months back. The locals found out about the relation in time and prevented the love jihad operation of Zameel. He used to work as a supervisor at an Aadhaar enrolment center.
The security agencies believe that all the three accused planned to strike at some religious places in Delhi-NCR. They were also in touch with some ISIS operatives in Delhi.
Police are now trying to locate and nab the contacts of the trio in Delhi.
