Trichy: In a horrific incident, BJP member J Raghu (39), Secretary in Palakarai zone has been hacked to death by unknown miscreants.
The incident happened today morning at around 5.30. The murder case is being investigated by Gandhinagar police.
Other BJP members held protest, blocked the road of Trichy Government Hospital, in demand of quick action to be taken against the miscreants.
According to reports, Raghu had earlier filed a theft case of his cellphone with the Gandhinagar police, but subsequently withdrew it.
