Moradabad: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh workers have started cooking meals at Moradabad station in Uttar Pradesh in collaboration with IRCTC for the migrant labourers amid coronavirus lockdown.
RSS workers will continue to prepare meals till May 31 for the migrant labourers who arrive by scheduled trains. They are also engaged in packing of the meals and supplying it with water bottles.
“Today we are distributing water bottles and a packet of meal to about 10,000 poor people and this campaign shall continue till May 31. Our target is to provide food yo 10,000 to 12,000 people every day. And 400 RSS workers are working behind this service,” said RSS Vibhag Prachar Pramukh Pawan Jain told ANI.
The nation is under fourth phase of lockdown till May 31 in order to contain the spread of coronavirus pandemic.
