Mumbai: In a shocking call from Pakistan, the iconic hotel of Mumbai, the Taj Mahal Palace hotel in Colaba received a bomb threat call on the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday. The caller, who himself identified as a member of the Lashkar-e-Taiba terror outfit, threatened to blow up Taj Mahal Palace hotel and Taj Lands End hotel in Bandra.
The Taj Mahal palace staffers received the first call at 12.30 am from a Pakistani number. The caller said that the two hotels will be blasted like the same way it happened in November 2008.
From the same number, the Taj Lands End hotel in Bandra also received the call and threatened to blow up the hotel in the similar fashion.
Security has been beefed up at and around the hotels following the threatening calls from Pakistan.
The 26/11 terror attack in Mumbai was the deadliest terror attack in India’s history where 166 people were killed and over 300 injured.
