Baghpat: In a dastardly attack, former district president of Uttar Pradesh BJP and a local party leader Sanjay Khokhar was shot dead on Tuesday by unidentified men.
Khokhar was on a morning walk at his own farm fields in Baghpat when three men opened fire at him.
Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has expressed grief at the killing of Sanjay Khokhar and ordered probe to nab the culprits.
“We have carried out a prima facie investigation and it seems to be a case of personal enmity. however, we are going to investigate this thoroughly and make arrests soon. there seem to be no eyewitnesses in the case ” said Ajay Kumar, Baghpat’s police chief.
