Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath issued strict instruction on Friday to government employees in order to make the functioning of the administration smooth and time bound.

CM Yogi has directed the Chief Secretary to ensure the timely attendance of government employees in the State Secretariat. The CM has said that government employees should reach the office by 9.30 at any cost and start their work.

The CM instructed all the departmental heads to ensure that their employees reach on time in the office. Apart from this, no file pending should be kept in the office for more than 7 days. He also made it clear that no file should be held in office for more than three days.

Additional Chief Secretary Awanish Awasthi said that the CM does not encourage outsiders into the Secretariat. No person is allowed to eat stuffs like paan, ghutka and enter the premises of the Secretariat.

CM Adityanath also expressed concern on the slow-going work of the employees and functioning of the office during the corona period. Also, the officers were directed to complete the departmental work with full capacity and productivity.
