Lucknow: Security agencies have busted the conspiracy to instigate riots and create tension to defame Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath government under the Hathras incident.
According to reports, government sources have uncovered a website justiceforhathrasvictim.carrd.co, that urges demonstrators to protest safely and avoid the clutches of the police. The website also clearly mentions about the do’s and dont’s to be safe during the riots and explains what has to be done during tear gas shelling and arrests occur.
The police lodged cases under several relevant sections of the IPC and the IT Act on October 3.
As soon as the security agencies cracked down on the website, it shut its operations. However, the information uploaded on them is intact with the agencies.
According to UP government sources, the website received heavy funding from Islamic countries and their links with Amnesty International is also being probed.
