Kolkata: In a shocking incident, Bharatiya Janata Party booth vice president reportedly died in police custody, claimed BJP West Bengal unit on Friday.
According to the BJP, Madan Ghodai was taken into custody from his home by the police and charged false cases and thrashed him mercilessly.
BJP Bengal tweeted, “Madan Ghodai, BJP Booth Vice President, died in police custody. Police picked him up from his home, sited false charges and beat him mercilessly in police custody. This is a clear case of murder by police under custody. We want justice for Madan Ghodai.”
