PM congratulates Mamata for TMC’s thumping victory in Bengal Assy polls

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday congratulated West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee as the trends showed that the party is heading towards a landslide victory in the state.

“Congratulations to Mamata Didi for @AITCofficial’s win in West Bengal. The Centre will continue to extend all possible support to the West Bengal Government to fulfill people’s aspirations and also to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic,” the Prime Minister wrote on Twitter.

As per latest statistics, the All India Trinamool Congress has won 21 seats and is leading on 192 while BJP is ahead on 75 seats and have so far won 3.
