Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday announced that the Delhi government will bear the cost for the education and upbringing of children orphaned by the COVID-19.
Addressing a digital press conference here, the Delhi Chief Minister also announced that all such families who have lost their earning person due to the COVID-19, will also be provided financial help.
He said, in the last 24 hours, number of fresh COVID-19 cases in the National Capital have reduced to around 8,500 while the positivity rate has come down to 12 per cent.
