Lucknow, Jul 12(UNI):  Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed his officials to ensure adequate arrangements for proper healthcare and treatment of the people as ‘Arogya Melas’ are not been organised due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Arogya Melas are aimed to make the citizen of the state aware of the government’s health schemes like Ayushman Bharat Yojana and Mukhyamantri Jan Arogya Yojana as well as provide them with the best treatment.

The state government has also taken a big step for the better health of the elderly. In this sequence, Asha workers will be deployed especially in the care of elderly people suffering from serious diseases like cancer and dialysis.

These workers across Uttar Pradesh will prepare a list of elders fighting the war against these diseases and will interact with them to keep a check on their health conditions. Along with this, they will also help these elderly in getting medicines and tests.

“Proper arrangements should be made for dyeing of CHC/PHC buildings, availability of equipment and medicines, sufficient manpower, etc,” he said, adding, “‘Health Centers of Uttar Pradesh’ app, launched yesterday, should also be made useful for public welfare.”

Be it regular vaccinations of children or the process of making a golden card, the CM had ordered to make alternative arrangements to keep everything covered.

While addressing the high-level meet here on Monday , the CM directed the officials to put all the efforts to make it more useful by spreading awareness about this helpline. Whether they need an ambulance or need medicine, everything should be provided.
