New Delhi: In a significant development that will hurt Pakistan, India has decided to stop the flow of waters of 3 rivers to Pakistan. In a Twitter message Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, said that the Central Government has decided to divert the water from the Eastern Rivers and supply it to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
As per the Indus Waters Treaty, India has full control of three rivers the Beas, the Ravi, and the Sutlej. The Indian government has decided to divert the waters of these rivers to Jammu Kashmir which used to flow into Pakistan.
