New Delhi: A report said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi collaborated with Grammy awardee Falguni Shah and her husband Gaurav Shah on a song to promote the benefits of millets. The song dubbed ‘Abundance in Millets’ has been sung by Falguni Shah and her husband Gaurav. It has been released on June 16.

Falguni Shah said that the Prime Minister wrote a song with her and her husband. The song is written in English and Hindi and will be accessible to everyone. The song highlights the power of millets. According to reports, the song ‘Abundance in Millets’ is created to raise awareness of the grain, which has the potential to bring down world hunger.

Falguni Shah and Gaurav Shah will release the song ‘Abundance in Millets’, which features Narendra Modi.

The report added that the song idea came to Falguni Shah when she met PM following her Grammy win. He had suggested her to write a song with the message to end hunger and told her to pen a song on millets. She agreed and asked the PM if he could write the song with her. To which the Prime Minister agreed.

The song promotes to grow more millet and try to end hunger in many parts of the world.

Reports say that India made a proposal to designate 2023 as the ‘International Year of Millets’. The proposal was supported by Members of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) governing bodies and also by the 75th Session of the UN General Assembly, said the report.
