New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver his monthly radio programme, ‘Mann Ki Baat,’ marking its 102nd edition on Sunday. The broadcast is scheduled for 11 a.m.
Recently, PM Modi’s monthly radio show achieved a significant milestone with its 100th episode, which aired live across the country on April 26. The 100th edition of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ also had a global broadcast on April 30 and was aired live at the United Nations headquarters in New York.
Since its inception on October 3, 2014, the programme has emerged as a crucial element of the government’s outreach to citizens, engaging various social groups such as women, youth, and farmers and inspiring community initiatives. Through the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme, the Prime Minister has provided a platform to individuals from around the world who have made remarkable contributions in their respective fields yet remained unrecognized. Additionally, PM Modi has addressed diverse topics ranging from climate change, agriculture, art, culture, and health, presenting novel ideas to society on each occasion.
‘Mann Ki Baat’ is broadcast in 22 Indian languages, 29 dialects, and 11 foreign languages, including French, Chinese, Indonesian, Tibetan, Burmese, Baluchi, Arabic, Pashtu, Persian, Dari, and Swahili. The programme is aired by over 500 broadcast centres of All India Radio.
