Jaipur: BJP president J P Nadda launched a scathing attack on the UPA-led Congress government, accusing it of oppression, favouritism, and atrocities. Addressing a rally as part of the BJP’s “Nahi Sahega Rajasthan” campaign against the Congress government, Nadda criticised the UPA, stating that it stands for “utpidan, pakshpat, and atyachar.”

He further emphasised that the Congress has no right to be in power in Rajasthan, even for a minute. Nadda charged that the Ashok Gehlot government is setting new records of corruption. He targeted the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) led by the Congress and said, “UPA of Congress stands for ‘utpidan, pakshapat, and atyachar. Whereas the NDA (National Democratic Alliance) government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working with the mantra of ‘sabka saath, sabka vikas, sabka vishwas, and sabka prayas.”

The BJP President also targeted the state government, accusing it of looting and torturing people, and breaking all records of atrocities against marginalised communities, including Dalits, tribals, women, children, and the poor. He further alleged that the Congress government pursued a vote-bank politics agenda, even going so far as to demolish the houses of refugees from Pakistan with bulldozers.

As part of the “Nahi Sahega Rajasthan” campaign, Nadda launched a theme video highlighting various issues, such as crime against women, the murder of Kanhaiya Lal in Udaipur, and communal riots. The campaign aims to remove the Congress from power in the state, and it will be carried out across the entire state. Nadda also released a “Fail Card” of the Congress-led state government, presumably listing its perceived failures and shortcomings. Assembly elections are scheduled to take place in Rajasthan by the end of the year.
