Gwalior: Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia criticised the I.N.D.I.A alliance of the opposition, stating that parties “who used to hate each other” are now coming together “like family.”

“Under the leadership of PM Modi, the country is touching new heights of development. The ideology of the Bharatiya Janata Party is based on Jana seva (service of people), Jan Kalyan (upliftment of people), and Gareeb Kalyan (upliftment of the poor). Opposition is upset and that is why those parties those used to hate each other and couldn’t face each other, are now coming together like a family,” he said while speaking to reporters.

Hitting out at the Opposition, Scindia said that the opposition is repeatedly endorsing an ideology that has been rejected by the Indian people numerous times before. He affirmed his confidence in the faith the citizens have in PM Modi and the BJP.

“I am surprised that the ideology which was rejected by the people of India several times is being touted again and again by the opposition,” said the minister.

Regarding the recent protest staged by the I.N.D.I.A alliance in the parliament, the Union Minister accused the opposition of disrupting the parliamentary proceedings. However, he reaffirmed the government’s readiness to engage in discussions on the matter.

Looking ahead, Scindia expressed his optimism about the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, confidently stating that the BJP will be chosen once again to lead the country.
