New Delhi: The Central Government has decided to reduce the price of LPG domestic gas cylinder by Rs.200 for all users.
Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Anurag Singh Thakur while announcing the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs’ (CCEA) decision, said that this is a gift from Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, to the women of country on Onam and Raksha Bandhan.
The CCEA is headed by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
Anurag Singh Thakur also said that the government has decided to add another 75 lakh Ujjwala gas beneficiaries in addition to the 9.6 crore beneficiaries of the scheme. India is dependent on imports for 60% of its natural gas demands.
