Nagpur: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Chief, Mohan Bhagwat, made a significant statement during the inauguration of ‘Madhukar Bhavan,’ the new building of Shri Narkesari Prakashan Ltd., which publishes the newspaper ‘Dainik Tarun Bharat.’ In his address, Bhagwat asserted that India is a “Hindu Rashtra” and emphasised that all Indians are Hindus, highlighting the unity and shared cultural heritage of the nation.
Bhagwat stated, “Hindustan (India) is a ‘Hindu Rashtra, and this is a fact. Ideologically, all Bharatiyans (Indians) are Hindus, and Hindus mean all Bharatiyans. All those who are in Bharat (India) today are related to Hindu culture, Hindu ancestors, and Hindu land, nothing other than these.”
He acknowledged that while some have grasped and embraced this understanding, others may not have fully comprehended it due to various reasons, including habits, selfishness, or simply a lack of awareness.
Addressing the importance of responsible journalism, Bhagwat emphasised the need for fair and fact-based reporting that encompasses all sections of society while maintaining the integrity of one’s own ideology. He underlined that the RSS ideology is highly regarded worldwide and has no alternative.
“Everybody has understood this. Some acknowledge it, some do not,” Bhagwat stated, highlighting the global responsibility that rests upon the country, society, and media outlets that propagate this ideology.
In addition to discussing the ideological aspects, Bhagwat emphasised the importance of caring for the environment, promoting “Swadeshi” (indigenous goods), preserving family values, and upholding discipline.
