New Delhi: Maulik Jani, a resident of Gujarat, has transformed his Jaguar car into a vibrant display of India’s G20 Presidency-themed colours, extending his congratulations to the nation for hosting the upcoming G20 Summit. Maulik, accompanied by his friend Siddarth, embarked on a journey from Ahmedabad in Gujarat to the national capital, Delhi, in honor of the G20 Summit scheduled for September 9 and 10.
Speaking about their journey, Maulik shared, “We have come from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, for the G-20 summit taking place in our country. We have themed our entire vehicle around the G20 and named our journey ‘Tiranga Yatra.’ My friend Siddharth and I have made this journey from Surat to Delhi four times before. Currently, we are travelling directly from Gujarat, and it took us nearly 24 hours. I would like to congratulate and extend my best wishes to all our fellow countrymen in light of the G-20.”
Meanwhile, preparations are in full swing at the New Delhi airport to welcome the esteemed guests and delegates attending the G20 Summit. The airport has set up amenities such as an international ceremonial lounge, dedicated immigration counters, captivating waterfalls, prominent hoardings, and illuminated G20 logos.
Prominent world leaders, including US President Joe Biden, French President Emmanuel Macron, and Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, among others, are scheduled to arrive at the Indira Gandhi International Airport to participate in the G20 summit at Bharat Mandapam on September 9 and 10.
