Transgender individuals face numerous societal challenges and difficulties. We spoke to several transgender people, and they revealed that they experience abuse in various situations, particularly when accessing healthcare in public places. Ajay Shukla pointed out that because of the insults and discrimination they endure, many transgender individuals avoid seeking medical treatment even when they are unwell.
The hospital has introduced dedicated restrooms and other facilities to cater to transgender patients. The inauguration ceremony was attended by a significant number of transgender individuals, who expressed their happiness and gratitude for this specialized initiative aimed at their community.
