New Delhi : The Supreme Court of India is set to consider the petitions related to the Mathura Srikrishna Janmabhoomi dispute on October 3. This pivotal decision comes in response to a petition challenging the order that transferred all cases pertaining to the Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi dispute from the Mathura District Court in Uttar Pradesh to the Allahabad High Court.
It was the Allahabad High Court itself that issued the directive for this transfer of petitions. The Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi case has garnered significant attention as it encompasses several petitions demanding that the birthplace of Lord Shri Krishna in Mathura be exclusively designated for Hindu worship. Additionally, multiple petitions are before the court, advocating for a thorough scientific examination of the mosque situated in Mathura.
