HYDERABAD: Ahead of Telangana assembly elections the Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to address the ‘Jana Garjana Sabha’ on October 27th in Suryapet. The Minister made this announcement through his social media account, formally known as Twitter.
On October 22nd, the BJP released its first list of 55 candidates for the 2023 Telangana assembly elections. The list includes 20 candidates from Backward Classes, 14 from Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, 14 from the Reddy community, and six from the Velama community. The NDA’s ally, the Jana Sena Party (JSP), is contesting in 12 assembly constituencies.
The Telangana assembly elections are scheduled for November 30th, with the counting of votes taking place on December 3rd. Telangana is witnessing a triangular contest between the BRS, Congress, and BJP.
