Air India engineer falls to death while repairing aircraft

New Delhi: An engineer met a tragic end after he is slip and fell during repair work on an Air India plane. Senior Superintendent Engineer Ram Prakash Singh (56), a member of the Air India flight, lost his life. The incident took place at Indira Gandhi International Airport.

The incident occurred last night as Singh, along with other crew members, was performing maintenance work. While ascending the ladder for repairs, Singh’s footing slipped from the plane’s radome, causing him to fall to the ground. The fall resulted in severe head injuries.

His colleagues rushed him to the nearby Medanta Hospital and then transferred him to Manipal Hospital. Despite their efforts, his life could not be saved. The local authorities have announced the need for further investigation into the incident.
