New Delhi: Trinamool MP Kalyan Banerjee insulted Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar during a protest dharna staged by the I.N.D.I. Alliance MPs outside the Parliament. Kalyan Banerjee was doing a distorted imitation of the Vice President. After the incident came out in the media, there has been a huge protest against the MP.
Kalyan Banerjee’s mocking presentation was captured on mobile by Rahul Gandhi and AICC General Secretary Venugopal. Protests are also rising on social media against Rahul, who was seen enjoying and recording the video of Kalyan Banerjee insulting the Vice President.
78 MPs were suspended from Parliament for disrupting the proceedings, with 45 from Rajya Sabha and 33 from Lok Sabha. The Trinamool MP insulted the Vice President while protesting against the suspension of MPs.
