Raipur: An encounter between security forces and communist insurgents in Sukma, Chattisgarh, resulted in injuries to five terrorists. The operation, jointly carried out by CRPF’s CoBRA 201 Battalion, Bastar Fighters, and Chhattisgarh Police, left the security personnel unharmed.
Efforts are underway to eradicate communist terrorism in the state, with ongoing searches in the forested areas where the encounter took place. Authorities have revealed that additional terrorists may be concealed in the vicinity. The confrontation occurred in the Nagaram and Kothapalli forest regions, leading to the recovery of explosives and anti-national propaganda pamphlets from the possession of the terrorists, according to police reports.
