SRINAGAR: Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and National Conference Party leader Farooq Abdullah congratulated those who have put efforts into constructing the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
Farooq Abdullah’s statement on the Ayodhya Temple holds significant weight, particularly in a situation where there remains ambiguity concerning the participation of the INDI alliance and the Congress party. Meanwhile, the CPI(M) denying the invitation to attend the Ayodhya Consecration has sparked controversy.
During an interview with the news agency ANI, Farooq Abdullah mentioned that Lord Sri Ram is not just a deity for Hindus but holds significance for people worldwide. He added that Lord Rama symbolizes brotherhood, love, and unity, emphasizing the diminishing sense of brotherhood in our country and the urgent need to revive it. He expressed hope that the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya would facilitate this revival.
Farooq Abdullah highlighted that Lord Rama’s message of sacrifice and love resonates globally, urging everyone to uphold and nurture brotherhood.
Farooq Abdullah’s remarks were made in response to the scheduled Prana Pratishtha (Consecration) ceremony at the Ayodhya Ram Temple, set for January 22, 2024.
