Bengaluru: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested two more individuals in connection with the murder of BJP Yuva Morcha member Praveen Nettaru in Karnataka’s Bellare. The NIA arrested the two individuals, who are natives of Songal, Manjeswaram.

According to the NIA, the arrested individuals are relatives of a Popular Front of India (PFI) terrorist who went into hiding after murdering Praveen Nettaru. Police records indicate that Praveen Nettaru was killed on July 26, 2022, in Bellare village of Dakshina Kannada district.

The NIA chargesheet reveals that he was killed with sharp weapons as part of the PFI’s agenda to instill terror among members of a specific community, fostering communal hatred and unrest in society. The ultimate goal is to establish Islamic Rule in India by 2047.

Earlier, three individuals were already arrested by the NIA in connection with the case.
