Ayodhya: The idol of Ram Lalla was unveiled at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi leading the sacred rituals. The ceremony is being held in an atmosphere of a deep sense of devotion.
Indian Air Force (IAF) choppers added to the ceremonial splendor by showering flower petals over the temple premises during the unveiling. The chant of ‘Jai Sri Ram’ resonated among devotees and guests in attendance.
Notable dignitaries present at the ceremony included RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. With over 8,000 guests invited, the Pran Pratishtha ceremony drew representatives from major spiritual and religious sects, as well as individuals from diverse walks of life, including various tribal communities.

Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to address the distinguished gathering during the event. Additionally, he will engage with the shramjeevis involved in the construction of the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir and visit the restored ancient Mandir of Lord Shiv at Kuber Tila.

Constructed in the traditional Nagara style, the magnificent Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir spans 380 feet in length (east-west), 250 feet in width, and 161 feet in height. Supported by 392 pillars and featuring 44 doors, the temple’s pillars and walls showcase intricately sculpted depictions of Hindu deities. In the main sanctum sanctorum on the ground floor, the idol of Shri Ramlalla, representing the childhood form of Lord Shri Ram, has been reverently placed.
