Patna: After snapping ties of “Mahagathbandhan” (Grand Alliance) in Bihar, a new NDA government has assumed power, with Janata Dal-United chief Nitish Kumar taking the oath as Bihar Chief Minister at Raj Bhavan on Sunday. Accompanying him, BJP leaders Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha also took the oath as Deputy Chief Ministers. The ceremony at Raj Bhavan witnessed the presence of BJP National President JP Nadda and other dignitaries. As BJP chief JP Nadda arrived, the crowd resonated with chants of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s name and slogans. This is the ninth time that Nitish Kumar is sworn in as Chief Minister of Bihar.
