New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded the Interim Budget presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in Parliament on Thursday, describing it as inclusive and innovative. In his initial post-budget remarks, PM Modi emphasized that the interim budget strengthens the four pillars of Viksit Bharat.
He highlighted that the budget reflects the aspirations of the young Bharat and focuses on empowering the poor and middle class while creating new employment opportunities. He further noted that the income-tax remission scheme will provide relief to 1 crore people from the middle class.
