She also expressed confidence that the BJP will face the upcoming Parliament elections honestly, emphasizing that the promised welfare schemes have been successfully delivered to every deserving individual. These remarks were made during a media interaction in New Delhi.
Nirmala Sitharaman highlighted that over the last 10 years, the BJP has not only announced welfare schemes but has also actively worked to ensure their benefits reach every deserving person in the country. The government has implemented whatever was promised to the people, and this commitment will continue.
She also highlighted the rapid implementation of the Modi government’s schemes, reaching people on the ground shortly after their announcement. She said that this swift execution has instilled confidence in the public regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government.
Nirmala Sitharaman pointed out that during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Modi government focused on providing food and essential goods to the poor. Nirmala Sitharaman also noted that the progress made in the economy during the 10 years under the Modi government is remarkable when compared to the 10 years under the UPA.
