New Delhi: NV Subhash, the grandson of the late Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao, lashed out Nehru family after the Central government announced Bharat Ratna for Narasimha Rao.
Subhash stated that the Nehru family had played a role in making Narasimha Rao a scapegoat for the failures of the Congress party. He mentioned that the Congress party had failed to recognize Narasimha Rao’s contributions and to honour him, despite he belongs to Congress party. Subhash remarked that this announcement was a slap in the face for the Congress party, especially for members of the Nehru family.
Subhash further criticized the Nehru family, asserting that they took credit for all of Narasimha Rao’s achievements while attributing failures to him.
He also emphasized that the recognition was not only significant for the family but also for the admirers and followers of Narasimha Rao. Subhash expressed sincere gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for taking the initiative to bestow the country’s highest honor upon PV Narasimha Rao.
