Puducherry: The two-day Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) commenced on Tuesday, in Puducherry, with the ceremonial ‘Deep Prajjwalan’ by ABVP National President Dr. Rajsharan Shahi, ABVP National General Secretary Shri Yagywalkya Shukla, and ABVP National Organising Secretary Shri Ashish Chauhan in the presence of ABVP Karyakartas from all across the states of the country participating in this meeting. The meeting aims to review and strategize the action plan of organizational activities, beginning with the discussion on the reports of various nationwide activities and initiatives conducted by ABVP in the recent months.

It is noteworthy that the two-day ABVP Central Working Committee meeting focuses on organizational activities along with discussions on changes in the education sector, issues affecting the youth, current national scenarios, and social conditions, aiming to chalk out a plan for the youth of the country to move in a positive direction under the leadership of ABVP.

ABVP National President, Dr. Rajsharan Shahi, stated, “Puducherry, with its rich history, symbolizes the ethos of progress and harmony. Today, a new energy has emerged in the entire country as we witness significant developments such as the Consecration of Shri Ram’s idol at the birthplace of Shri Ram. The low attendance of students in the classrooms of various educational institutions is a major concern for Bharat’s future. ABVP is raising awareness among students through the ‘Parisar Chalo Campaign’ to increase attendance in classrooms, for which immediate and effective measures should take place.”

ABVP National General Secretary, Shri Yagywalkya Shukla, stated, “The new National Education Policy is aimed at realigning the comprehensive reforms in the education sector. There is an immediate need to work effectively on a large scale in the education sector today. Incidents of increasing paper leaks in many states including Odisha, Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand have severely affected the minds of the youth. Strict measures should be taken to prevent paper leaks.”
