New Delhi: Nuzarath Jahan, National Vice President of the Republican Party of India (RPI, Athawale), informed through a Facebook post that she is contesting in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections as a candidate of RPI (A) from Wayanad constituency against Rahul Gandhi.

“As Smriti Irani defeated Rahul Gandhi in 2019 in Amethi, Nuzarath Jahan will defeat Rahul Gandhi in Wayanad in 2024,” said Ramdas Bandu Athawale, Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment of India and the President of the Republican Party of India (Athawale).

Athawale said this while nominating Nuzarath Jahan, as the candidate representing RPI (A) contesting from Wayanad, Kerala.

The Republican Party of India (Athawale) is a political party in India. The party is a splinter group of the Republican Party of India and has its roots in the Scheduled Castes Federation led by Dr. B R Ambedkar.

Nuzarath Jahan’s Facebook post:

“According to the decision of the Republican Party of India (Athwale) National Executive, the Union Minister of Social Welfare and the National President of the Party, Shri. Ramdasji has assigned me the task of contesting against Rahul Gandhi in the Wayanad constituency of Kerala, in the coming parliamentary elections. For a new Wayanad, for a development-oriented Kerala, for the NDA government, my colleagues and I are now moving to Wayanad…”
