Bengaluru: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) arrested one person in connection with ‘The Rameshwaram Cafe’ blast case. Muzammil Shareef, a native of Ballari, Karnataka, was taken into custody. Sources informed that he is being interrogated.
Earlier, the NIA had shared several CCTV footage suspected to belong to the accused. Following this, he was taken into custody.
The NIA had announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh for those who share information about the accused. For that, the NIA also shared the contact numbers: 08029510900 and 8904241100 and email address [email protected] for sharing information regarding the Rameshwaram Cafe blast case. The NIA also mentioned that the identity of the informer will remain confidential.

On March 1, the incident occurred at the cafe in Brookefield, Bengaluru. In the bomb blast, nine people, including the eatery staff and customers, were injured.
The footage of a person getting down at the bus stop, which is 100 meters away from ‘The Rameshwaram Cafe,’ and then coming to the cafe, was recorded on the CCTV camera, making it one of the crucial pieces of evidence for the investigation.
