Thiruvananthapuram: Ration mustering in the state will be temporarily suspended until server issues are fully resolved. The Food Department has assured that ration distribution will continue without interruption. Mustering is scheduled to resume on a trial basis once the server problems are fixed. If successful, ration distribution along with mustering will resume in the following days.
The central government has mandated that ration card mustering in the state be completed by the 31st of this month. Accordingly, the state food department had planned to conduct mustering by suspending the distribution of rations on the 15th, 16th, and 17th of this month. However, due to server failures in the e-POS machines, mustering was temporarily halted.
The Hyderabad NIC and the state IT mission have informed the government that resolving the glitch in the e-POS machines will take some time. As a result, it has been decided to resume mustering only after the crisis is completely resolved.
