Thiruvananthapuram: A complaint has been filed against the Chief Minister of Kerala, Chief Secretary, and Director of Information and Public Relations for violating the code of conduct. The complaint was received by the Election Commission and was filed by KPCC Working President TN Prathapan MP.
The complaint alleges that the Chief Minister’s assembly speech is being distributed throughout Kerala. The assembly speech, printed using funds from the state government’s general exchequer, is being distributed to households in the form of a 16-page book, costing crores of rupees. The complaint argues that this distribution violates the model code of conduct.
