Wayanad: Wayanad NDA candidate and Kerala BJP State President K Surendran severely criticized the CPI(M) for their involvement in the Karuvannur Cooperative Bank scam. Surendran mentioned that the CPI(M) party has benami accounts not only in Karuvannur Cooperative Bank but also in all cooperative banks across all districts in Kerala.

Surendran said that the CPI(M) deposited crores of rupees in cooperative banks throughout the state during demonetization for money laundering. He added that Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan’s protest against demonetization was to protect black money.

Surendran said that PM Modi had stated that the black money deposited in cooperative banks would be discovered. He added that the BJP-led Central government is always with the victims of CPI(M) and Congress financial frauds and lootings. He accused the Congress party of a scam at Pulpally Cooperative Bank in Wayanad district.

Surendran added that the BJP will uncover all the scams conducted by the CPI(M) and Congress. Meanwhile, today the Kerala Chief Minister did not respond to questions from the media regarding the Enforcement Directorate (ED’s) investigation findings.
