Thiruvananthapuram: The NDA candidate for the Thiruvananthapuram Lok Sabha constituency, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, has submitted his nomination papers. He filed his nomination papers before the Thiruvananthapuram District Collector Geromic George. The nomination papers were submitted after conducting a roadshow from Peroorkada to Collectorate in Kudappanakunnu .
Thousands of BJP activists participated in the roadshow which was participated by External Affairs Minister S.Jaishankar. People from different areas of the Thiruvananthapuram constituency handed over money to Rajeev Chandrasekhar for submitting the nomination papers. Along with Rajeev Chandrasekhar, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, senior BJP leaders PK Krishna Das, and VV Rajesh were present to submit the nomination papers.
Meanwhile, Union Minister Smriti Irani has also reached Wayanad to support NDA candidate K Surendran. People welcomed Smriti Irani with a huge roadshow. K. Surendran is also submitting his nomination papers today. Thrissur NDA candidate Suresh Gopi will also submit his nomination papers today.
