Thiruvananthapuram: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is to indict more individuals in connection with the death of JS Siddharth. Presently, 20 individuals are included on the list of accused persons. The FIR has been drafted based on the investigative findings of the police and the preliminary reports from the CBI.
Meanwhile, the National Human Rights Commission will hold a sitting in connection with Siddharth’s death at the college for five days. The commission members will stay at the college and gather statements from the teachers, college staff, and hostel students.
It is reported that the CBI team will visit the college to record statements. Siddharth’s father, Jayaprakash, has been directed to appear tomorrow to give a statement.
