Thiruvananthapuram: NDA Lok Sabha candidate, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, said that Thiruvananthapuram will have all round development and announced that he will release his Vision Document soon detailing the developmental plans for the constituency. He was speaking to the media when he announced that the Vision Document will be released soon.
Rajeev Chandrasekhar said that he is seeking votes from the people by putting forward the promise of development. He added that he is not interested in wasteful arguments.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had reached Thiruvananthapuram to campaign for Rajeev Chandrasekhar. In a public function at Kattakkada, the Prime Minister had requested the people to vote for Rajeev Chandrasekhar. External Affairs Minsiter, S Jaishankar, had come to extend his support for Chandrasekhar during the nomination.
In a road show at Neyatinkara, actress Shobana had accompanied Rajeev Chandrasekhar, showing her support to the Lok Sabha candidate.
Thiruvananthapuram constituency is witnessing a tough fight between Congress candidate, Shashi Tharoor and NDA candidate, Rajeev Chandrasekhar. The LDF candidate is Pannyan Raveendran.
